What do you do when you face the biggest fear of losing somebody you love? And what do the boys and men in this epic story about lust for life and love do? Do they cave in and lose their faith or do they fall, get to their feet again and fight on for the most powerful belief of all? And how do immortals influence their fates? Deathbearer is prowling around the Cherson's army encampment and this time she has found a better instrument for her malicious vengeance. Will her plotting destroy Belial's favorites or will he be able to protect them from all harm?
Two boys, five men, and two immortals. Twenty-two nights of life. What will the full moon night bring? Find out in the second part of Trails of Love I Crawl trilogy.
Hi Ciaran and welcome to Read Between The Lines Hot Seat. I want to
thank you for joining us today. We would love to learn more about you and
you’re Trails of Love I Crawl Trilogy. What would you like to drink? I have a
few things I would like to ask you are you ready now that the hot seat is yours
for the day?
Thank you,... It's sweet of you to offer refreshments
for the barbecue party in your hot seat. I'll have a glass of calvados, and
yes, I'm as ready to be grilled as I can be. *smirks*
To start things off can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Ah, curious about some
piquant titbits from my life? I'll let you in on one: I'm a dominant and it
helps me write for my characters as I have direct experience with most
practices they whisper about to me when we write their stories. Unlike them, I
don't kill mortals or drink blood, but other than that... you get it. *grins*
So, I don't sit there with wide open eyes when they and me talk but readily put
their words on paper. It's one of the reasons why they love me as their bard
and scribe. They are the real storytellers behind my books and as long as my
writing pleases them, I’m happy too.
What do you do when you are not writing? Do you have a day job as
well?
Yes, I still have a day job to handle apart from my
writing though the ultimate goal is to transfer myself fully into an author's
career.
When writing Trails of Love I Crawl was it strictly pure
imagination or are there some aspect based on real life?
It's based on real lives of my characters and I can't
really tell you in which realm those lives are led. It's not because I wouldn't
want to but I don't know. I can only say that my characters come to me in
silent night hours to share their life stories and have them told further in my
books. For me, their tales and destinies are very real but if you ask whether
the events in the Guardian Demon series have counterparts in this world which
we normally call “real life,” then the answer is no.
Do you ever experience writers block if so how do you overcome it?
Writer's block? What is that? *chuckles* Seriously, I
don't experience it. I'm happy when I sit down and write, and my characters are
always ready to tell me the next part of their tale. I only need to listen and
let my fingers fly over the keyboard.
What was your favorite part of the writing process for Trails of
Love I Crawl?
If I tell you I love everything about my writing
process, will you believe me? I hope you will because it's true. I can't really
say which part I like the best because they all form one body in the end. I
suppose that you wanted to ask about elements like plotting, outlining,
character development and so on. But I don't really do those. When my men and
women come to me, their story is already there and they most definitely don't
need me to develop them. I don't bend anything in their lives or reactions to
the purpose of the story flow, I just help them to tell it as best as it can be
told. And still I hear that the heroes and villains on the pages of my books
are very real and people connect to them deeply. I think that it's natural and
comes with the fact that I really listen to them and let them tell their story
exactly as it happened to them.
After the Trails of Love I Crawl Trilogy do you have any other WIP
for us to devour?
Of course I do. *gets excited* Me and my characters
are just finishing the work on the first part of In Blue Poppy Fields. It's a
gay paranormal erotic fantasy and will be released on 20 March this year, so
keep an eye on my blog not to miss its release tour and goodies we are planning
to give away.
Do you have any rituals or writing quirks like a certain time or
place?
A glass of good wine on my writing table makes me
satisfied.
Do you believe writing changes lives? If so how has your life
changed since you started writing?
*smiles* I live in a happy relationship with more
than one hundred characters. It's a big enough change and I must say, I love
it.
Which authors have influenced you the most and how have they
influenced you?
Me and my characters walk our own path. I can't say
I've been really deeply influenced by another author. My storytelling style is
rather unique and though I like A. Sapkowski's series about the Witcher and
some of M. Crichton's novels, my writing isn't truly influenced by theirs. I
like reading good books but I love writing them even better. So I spend most of
the time with my own characters.
The Lounge
Let’s Get A Little Kinky
Ropes or Chains?
Neither. Leather ties.
Ring Gag or Ball Gag?
Neither. I like when my submissive partner can speak
and otherwise vocalize his pleasure and pain. *smirks*
Flogger or Paddle?
A riding crop or a good, old-fashioned cane.
Collar or Blind Fold?
A black, soft blindfold.
Spreader or Swing?
A spreader.
Do you have any parting words of inspiration for your readers
and/or inspiring authors?
Now? When you got me in the mood?
*tries to think* I would say... read and write what brings your heart pleasure.
Because the heart always asks for its pleasure first and its desires should be
granted.
This tour should include a code for a 10% discount from the sales price TM68J The code is valid only for a purchase from Smashwords and expires on March 1 2013.
