Will her newfound powers be strong enough to save the life of her BFF, or will they both be doomed to the same fate?

First I will say this is a page turner to the very end.

Callie a typical teen or so she thought until just recently. A BFF who is not just a typical teen so they thought and caught up in a world full of things they never knew existed and throw in a few guys that are falling all over Callie and you are set for an adventure that will leave you wanting more. Callie just recently learns that she is special. She has powers that at times seem like they are more of a hindrance rather than a gift thrown into a world filled with creatures that go bump in the night. Callie has to fight for her life and the lives of her friends for something that her mom had done years ago.

I LOVED all the description Trista wrote with though there where times I had to re read apart but that never took away from the story. Trista will capture your interest with her unique twist on her vampires and her writing style will keep you turning the page until it is over and leave you wanting book 2 which is currently being written. She will leave you wondering what will happen with Cassie and her entourage of guys.

Trista Day is a married 29 year old mother of two with an obsession for collecting anything Alice in Wonderland and The Labyrinth. In between eating too much chocolate and watching The Fifth Element, she loves to read and write young adult/teen science fiction, fantasy and paranormal romance.
