My Thoughts
Okay I enjoyed book one Beauty from Pain but I must say I enjoyed this one a little bit more we can more background history on both Laurelyn and Jack. After doing what she thought she couldn't do Laurelyn finds herself back home in the states and pursuing a career in music and determined to do it on her own. Things are not always as easy as they seem and she finds herself missing and thinking about Jack.
Jack a complete mess after Larelyn walking away puts himself on a path of self destruction until he realizes he must go after what he wants regardless of the consequences. He than finds himself chasing her down only to see that she has moved on or at least it appears this way. Determined not to let her go again without a fight he opens himself up to her. Can they have a future regardless of their previous rules.
Loving the character growth love seeing them with flaws and all as they struggle to make their way. Georgia Cates sure does know how to weave a tale of love and all the obstacles normal people come across. Looking forward to the next installment.
