The heartfelt holiday conclusion to the Kavanagh Legends family saga revisits all the couples that readers have fallen in love with throughout the series. An angsty and loving Christmas novella, it’s the perfect goodbye to these Irish MMA fighters and a glimpse into what the future holds for them.
With the Christmas season fast approaching, the entire Kavanagh family is feeling anything but the holiday spirit. Commitments are questioned, relationships are tense, and bickering is nonstop.
However, when a crisis strikes and the family realizes that they might lose one of their own, they’ll come together to remember the reason for the season is first, and foremost, love and family.
Read between the Lines and Readers are dying to know more about your holiday themed novel. Is your novel a standalone or part of a series, if in a series can it be read as a standalone. Can you give us some details?
Kavanagh Christmas is the fifth and last book in the Kavanagh Legends series, which is a family saga Irish MMA Romance Series about brothers in the Bronx. While the first four books in the series can be read as standalones, this Christmas novella cannot. It contains a ton of spoilers to the first four books as it wraps up the story for everyone.
Where do you draw your inspirations from?
Inspiration comes from everywhere for me! Friends, family, television, books, people watching, etc.
Who are your favorite authors?
Lauren Blakely and Alessandra Torre are my favorite romance authors!
Was there any particular book which gave you the writing bug?
No, I’ve been writing since I was a child. It started as journaling and poetry and expanded from there. It’s always been a part of me!
Speaking of potentially “embarrassing” subjects, what’s the strangest thing you had to research for your writings?
Sex positions are pretty strange to research. Checking for porn that verifies certain positions work—and are attractive—can certainly be a bit odd!
Research aside, what’s the hardest part of being an author?
Self-discipline. Whether it’s being disciplined enough to write every day, or disciplined enough to stay in your lane and not compare yourself to others…it’s all very difficult! It’s truly a journey you take alone and have to be accountable to yourself during.
How would you describe your writing style?
I try to write conflict driven stories with emotion driven, flawed characters.
Any “fun facts” about the book?
This book is the only one I’ve ever written with more than 2 points of view. In fact, this book has SEVEN perspectives throughout. Don’t worry—it’s clearly labeled to cut down on confusion!
Have you had any odd fan encounters?
Nope! Fans and readers are amazing, and seeing them in person and online has always been a big perk of this job.
Is there anything you’re currently working on now?
I’m currently working on BARE, the second book in my Hollywood romance series.
