The Thing (Envy Part 2)

I’ve made it my life’s mission to make her miserable. I hate her and I want her to know it. There’s no part of her life I won’t seep into. No part she can keep from me.
She’s perfect. Too perfect. Her family is too perfect. They act like they care, but I bet deep down it’s all an act. No family stays together long these days. No mom really wants to cook everyday. No dad really wants to forego a beer just to talk to his kids. They’ve got another thing coming if they think I can’t see through their act.
I put up with it for as long as I could. I finally hit my breaking point a few weeks ago when she showed up at school in her own car. They only got her that to buy her friends. Once I got to them, she didn’t have a friend left in that school. Little white lies can go a long way in high school. And we all know how cruel girls can be.
Anyway, all the shit revolving around her drove me to an entirely new state. My life is pretty good here. I’ve got a scholarship and a boyfriend. The family I moved in with here gave me a car. I’ve even got a job. The thing is, she still nags at me.
I think about the people I left behind to deal with her. I’m afraid they’ll fall for her act and turn on me. I worked too hard for that to happen. Too hard for my little white lies to come unraveled.
But no. Instead of he life being a miserable pile of shit, she’s doing better than ever. Better than I could.
Now as I look through my feed, I see she’s got a boyfriend. He seems like a really great guy. One that looks like he has no business being with a bitch like her. I even followed and then messaged the guy to tell him what a slut she is, but he wouldn’t listen. He basically told me to fuck off and then blocked me.
I even called her out on some bullshit post, but her damn sister in law couldn’t let well enough alone and I ended up deleting the damn thing just to get some peace. I mean, I went through all that trouble, unblocking her so I could tag her and then say my piece. I knew she wouldn’t respond, but damn…I don’t know why these people can’t see her for what she is. I don’t know why they can’t just take what I say and help me make her miserable. She does deserve it after all. Wouldn’t you say?
